Arkheron Closed Beta Now Open for Xbox Insiders

Bonfire Studios has officially launched the Closed Beta for their upcoming game, Arkheron, exclusively for Xbox Insiders. This technical test is now available for players on Xbox Series X, Series S, and Windows PC, running until midnight PT on July 27.

Arkheron is a dynamic PvP game that emphasizes team-based strategy. Players form teams of three and can customize their abilities and playstyles by combining various items during matches. This flexibility allows for a unique gameplay experience, as there are no fixed classes; the items players choose significantly influence their roles and strategies in combat.

Featured Game Modes

During the Closed Beta, players can engage in the Spires game mode, a focused 3v3 arena designed for rapid experimentation with new builds and teamwork. Additionally, the Ascension mode will be available during limited regional windows on weekends. In Ascension, 15 teams of three will compete on a larger map, gathering items to enhance their builds and ultimately battling in a final showdown.

Exclusive Rewards and Participation

The Closed Beta also introduces a cosmetic progression system. Players can earn Pages by participating in matches, defeating monsters, and completing Challenge Rifts. These Pages can be used to unlock exclusive 'Prestige' items that will remain in players' accounts even after the beta concludes.

To participate, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC users need to sign in to the Xbox Insider Hub app. After navigating to Previews and selecting Arkheron Insider, players can join and install the game from the store.

Bonfire Studios encourages players to provide feedback through the Arkheron Forums, where developers will engage directly with the community to improve the game based on player input.
