Registration Opens for Splatoon 3 North American League 2026

Registration for the Splatoon 3 North American League 2026 season is now open, inviting teams from across the region to participate in a competitive gaming experience. The league will feature events held three days each week, providing players with opportunities to showcase their skills.

League Schedule and Structure

The league's events will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Fridays will be designated as Show Days, where players can catch up on league news and highlights. Saturdays will focus on League Play, allowing teams to compete against one another, culminating in a livestream featuring the top eight teams in a double elimination bracket. Sundays will be reserved for Casual Play, where players can join in on Salmon Run activities.

From April 3 to June 5, players can tune in on Fridays at 10 a.m. PT for a weekly show that includes recaps, panel discussions, and tips for both new and experienced players. League Play will commence on April 4 and run through June 6, starting each day at 12 p.m. PT. The season will include two preseason weeks followed by eight weeks of regular-season competition, leading to playoffs to determine the top teams.

Event Scoring and Prizes

Each event will begin with a Ladder Round, where teams compete for points that contribute to their Event Score. The top eight teams will advance to the Top 8 bracket. Season Standings will be calculated based on each team's top four Event Scores from the regular season, with the eight highest-ranking teams eligible for playoff advancement.

Prizes will be awarded to the Top Team at the end of the regular season, with each member receiving a Splatoon 3 North American League Top Team Trophy. Additionally, a Salmon Run competition will take place every Sunday from April 5 to June 7, allowing players to join for fun without any prizes.

The playoffs will feature the eight teams with the highest Season Standings, competing in a double elimination tournament. Matches will be streamed live on YouTube, with the playoffs scheduled for June 20 and 21.

Prizes for the playoff winners include a Grand Prize Trophy, themed gaming chairs, custom-wrapped controllers, and wall banners, with a total prize value estimated between $20,367.68 and $25,459.60.

How to Register

Players interested in participating can register at battlefy.com from now until June 6 at 12 p.m. PT. To be eligible, players must be legal residents of the US, Canada, or Mexico, aged 13 or older (or 18 and older in Mexico), and have access to a Nintendo Switch system and the Splatoon 3 game.
