Digimon Story Time Stranger Launches on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has announced that DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER™ is now available on Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™2. This visually stunning RPG invites players to discover, tame, and forge bonds with over 450 Digimon as they embark on a journey across both the human and digital worlds.

Developed by h.a.n.d., Inc., DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER is designed to be an accessible entry point for RPG enthusiasts. Players assume the role of an agent of ADAMAS, thrust into a world-threatening event that endangers both realms. To avert disaster, players must tame Digimon and collaborate with them, enhancing their abilities to tackle challenges through strategic, turn-based combat.

For those playing on the Nintendo Switch 2, the game offers two modes: Quality Mode, which supports 4K HDR at up to 30FPS when docked and Full HD at up to 30FPS in handheld mode, and Performance Mode, which allows for Full HD at up to 60FPS in both docked and handheld modes.

The game is available in three editions: Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Digital Ultimate. Each edition includes various bonuses:

• Standard Edition: Base game, Uniform of a Certain School costumes, Adventure Item set, Agumon (Black), and Gabumon (Black).
• Digital Deluxe Edition: All Standard edition content plus Cyber Sleuth Set Costumes and the Season Pass.
• Digital Ultimate Edition: All Digital Deluxe content plus a Costume Pack, early unlocks of special Agumon and Gabumon, and additional side missions.

Additionally, players can purchase a Season Pass, which includes the Golden Moai farm item for decorating the Digifarm and three DLC packs. Each pack features five additional Digimon and a new story episode, with the first pack, Alternate Dimension, set to release on July 16, followed by GAKU-RAN on July 23, and Anti-ParadoX on July 30, 2026.
