Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3: A New Era Unveiled

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has unveiled exciting gameplay details for the highly anticipated Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. This new installment invites fans to explore West City, a vibrant setting within an unexplored Dragon Ball world, set in AGE 1000. The announcement comes a decade after the last game in the series, marking a significant return for the franchise. The recently released trailer offers a glimpse into what players can expect from this long-awaited title. Players will have the opportunity to choose their own hero and embark on adventures in West City, where they will encounter familiar characters as well as new original characters making their debut in the series. Notable characters introduced in the trailer include Bulma and Gamma 1, who welcome players into the Great Saiya Squad and provide insights into life at West City University. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 promises to expand upon the series' signature high-speed combat with innovative fighting mechanics. Players will be able to soar through West City, engage in intense battles, and unleash powerful Ki Attacks against their enemies. A new feature, the Soul Assist system, allows players to execute powerful attacks in collaboration with allies from the Dragon Ball universe. Additionally, the Soul Switch mechanic enables players to temporarily harness the abilities of iconic characters such as Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta, Future Trunks, and Tien, enhancing their combat prowess. As anticipation builds, Bandai Namco has announced that more exciting details about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will be revealed in the coming months. The game is set to launch on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam® in 2027. Fans can also look forward to the official Road Tour starting in July, where they will have the chance to experience the game firsthand and dive into a completely new Dragon Ball story.
