FARCRY Joins World of Tanks with Limited-Time Event

FARCRY is making its way into the tactical tank shooter World of Tanks through a limited-time event titled Battle Pass Special: Far Cry. This exciting crossover will run from July 16 to July 27, bringing a host of content inspired by the iconic first-person shooter series.

Players can look forward to unlocking five iconic FARCRY characters: Jack Carver, Dr. George Krieger, Jason Brody, Citra Talugmai, and Pagan Min. Each character can be recruited through Chapter Progression, as well as through additional themed bundles that will be available during the event. Unique voiceovers will accompany each character, enhancing the immersive experience.

In addition to the characters, players will gain access to unique customizations and 2D styles by progressing through Chapter Stages. Notable styles include:

• Trouble in Paradise: A 2D style that pays homage to the original FARCRY game, featuring Jack Carver’s iconic Hawaiian shirt.
• Tatu: A 2D style that recreates the legendary tribal markings of the Rakyat people.
• Jungle Fever: A 2D style inspired by the lush environments of the FARCRY universe.

Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to unlock a brand-new tank, the M-VII-Y. This rugged American Tier IX heavy tank is designed to withstand the challenges of battle, featuring a unique jungle-crafted 3D style. The M-VII-Y can be unlocked through Chapter Progression and comes with the Twisting Paths 3D style, which showcases palm leaves on the turret, creating a distinctive silhouette reminiscent of the chaos found in FARCRY. The tank gun is inspired by Citra’s knife, featuring a blade-like shape and carved tribal patterns.

This collaboration not only brings new characters and customizations to World of Tanks but also enriches the gameplay experience by blending the worlds of FARCRY and tank warfare. Players can engage with the content through the event's progression system, making it a rewarding experience for fans of both franchises.
