For Honor’s Newest Season, Unleashed, Launches Today

For Honor has officially launched its Year 10 Season 2, titled Unleashed, bringing a host of new content for players. This season features a new Hero skin and bundles for the Sohei, alongside a thrilling throwback event, new Battle and Legacy passes, and Hero Fests. The narrative of Unleashed revolves around Khatun’s Peace, which rewards obedience while punishing the unwanted. During a feast hosted by the Samurai clan, a statue of Khatun is unveiled, but this act comes with dire consequences: old tools must be discarded, leading the Sohei on a perilous mission. Against all odds, he survives and receives an Oni mask from a stranger, which empowers him to seek revenge. The Sohei then attacks the feast, causing chaos among the attendees. The season introduces the Oni’s Wrath Hero Skin and Bundles, celebrating the Unleashed theme and the return of the Survivors of the Fog event. The Oni’s Wrath Hero skin is inspired by The Oni from Dead by Daylight, and the content includes: - The Oni’s Wrath Hero Skin and his weapon - The Oni’s Hunt Bundle, featuring the Hero skin, Bloodcurdling Scream emote, Oni’s Craving execution, and Blood Aura Mood FX - The Oni’s Hunt Deluxe Bundle, which includes the Sohei and all items from the Hunt Bundle. Players will have the opportunity to try the Sohei for free during a Hero Trial when the skin releases. The Survivors of the Fog event will run from June 11 to July 2, offering a 4v4 PvP mode similar to Dominion, where teams compete for capture points while avoiding the deadly Trapper. Additionally, a new Battle Pass and Legacy Pass have been introduced, filled with exciting rewards. The Battle Pass includes various effects, outfits, and executions, while the Legacy Pass features returning weapons and new items for each Hero. Players can also participate in Hero Fests, allowing them to try Heroes for free, with the Hero Trial for Sohei running from June 11-18. The Hero Fests will feature Nuxia, Valkyrie, and Kensei on July 2, July 9, and July 16, respectively. For Honor is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC through the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, as well as via a Ubisoft+ subscription.
