The Coalition and NVIDIA announce a collaboration to optimize Gears of War: E-Day for PC, enhancing visuals and performance.

The Coalition and NVIDIA have officially announced their partnership to enhance the PC experience of the upcoming title, Gears of War: E-Day. Built on Unreal Engine 5 and utilizing DirectX 12, the game aims to deliver a visually stunning and technically ambitious experience for players on both console and PC.

As the exclusive PC partner, NVIDIA is working closely with The Coalition to integrate GeForce RTX technologies into Gears of War: E-Day. This collaboration focuses on performance optimization and deep integration of advanced rendering features, including hardware ray tracing, which will elevate the game's lighting and environmental details.

Mike Perzel, Rendering Lead at The Coalition, emphasized the goal of creating a cinematic and visceral experience that harkens back to the franchise's roots. The game will support advanced graphics technologies, ensuring that players experience a gritty and immersive atmosphere as they navigate the chaos of Emergence Day.

Performance is a key focus for Gears of War: E-Day. The game is designed to deliver responsive and fluid gameplay, regardless of whether players are using high-end gaming rigs or more mainstream setups. NVIDIA's DLSS 4.5, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, and Reflex technologies will enhance frame rates, image quality, and input responsiveness, ensuring a smooth gaming experience.

In addition to NVIDIA's support, Gears of War: E-Day will also be optimized for a variety of hardware configurations. The game will support AMD FSR, Unreal Engine TSR, and Intel XeSS, along with Advanced Shader Delivery (ASD) to reduce load times and eliminate shader stutter on compatible systems. ASD will be available across various PC storefronts, including the Microsoft Store and Xbox PC app.

Players can look forward to early access to the Open Beta starting August 6, with the official launch set for October 6. Pre-ordering the game will grant players early access to the beta, along with exclusive in-game rewards such as the Exfil Dom Character Skin and Exfil Weapon Skin Set.

Gears of War: E-Day promises to deliver a gripping origin story campaign set fourteen years before the original game, featuring Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as they face the Locust Horde. The game will also include a reimagined PvE mode, Horde Siege, and refined Versus multiplayer modes, ensuring a robust experience for both solo and multiplayer gameplay.
