The game features a core mechanic where players can earn power-ups after conceding goals, allowing for a dynamic and unpredictable gameplay experience.

With over 150 power-ups available, players can enhance their teams, hinder opponents, or even alter the rules of the game. The power-ups range from simple boosts, such as speed enhancements, to more absurd options like transforming players into seagulls or a beat-up sedan. This chaotic element is designed to keep the gameplay engaging and entertaining, even for those who may not excel at sports games.

Pro Jank Footy offers multiple game modes, including a standard “Normal Footy” mode without power-ups, couch co-op play, and an online multiplayer option.
