The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Launching August 11 on Nintendo Switch 2

Pre-orders are now open for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, which is set to launch on August 11 for the Nintendo Switch 2. This remastered version brings Bethesda Game Studios’ classic open-world RPG to a new generation of players, featuring stunning updated visuals and refined gameplay.

Players will have the opportunity to explore the expansive province of Cyrodiil, engage in battles across the planes of Oblivion, and confront the forces of Mehrunes Dagon. The remaster promises to deliver the complete story experience that has captivated fans since its original release.

The remastered game will take full advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2's hardware, incorporating unique motion controls that enhance the immersive experience. This feature aims to put players directly in the action, making the gameplay feel more engaging.

Available Editions

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be available in two editions:

• Standard Edition: Includes the digital version of the full base game, the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine story expansions, and additional downloadable content such as Fighter’s Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, The Orrery, and the Horse Armor Pack.
• Deluxe Edition: Includes everything in the Standard Edition plus unique digital Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon Armors, Weapons, and Horse Armor Sets.

For players who already own the digital base game, a Deluxe Edition upgrade will be available for $9.99, granting access to the new quests associated with the unique armor and weapon sets.
