The Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest is now live in Pokémon Pokopia, inviting players to engage in a fun challenge with Zorua and friends. Participants can compete to clear the challenge as quickly as possible, with rewards based on their completion times. Players are encouraged to play frequently and aim to set new personal records throughout the event.

Event Details

The contest runs from July 19 at 5:00 a.m. to July 27 at 4:59 a.m. local time. To participate, players must first talk to Zorua located in front of the Pokémon Center. Once engaged, they can dive into the hide-and-sneak challenge and strive to beat their best times. Special prizes, including a trophy, await those who achieve impressive records.

Multiplayer Participation

Players can also join the contest in multiplayer mode. They can either meet in another player’s world or on a Cloud Island to participate together. In multiplayer mode, both the host and guests can compete, but only the host will receive prizes based on the fastest completion time among all participants. On a Cloud Island, all players can join in, and the best time set will become the island’s record.

How to Start the Event

To begin the event, players need to ensure they have downloaded the update data (Ver. 1.1.1). They should check their Nintendo Switch 2 system settings to confirm the software version. It is essential that the system date and time are set to the current real-world time, as the event will not activate if the date is outside the event period. Players must also launch the game while connected to the internet to access the contest.

Additionally, the event can only be played after completing Zorua’s request in Bleak Beach, which unlocks the hide-and-sneak feature. If players meet the conditions to start the event during the event period, they will need to either visit another town or select “Save & Quit” from the main menu before they can participate.

For those wishing to play from their own town in multiplayer mode, Palette Town is the designated location. Players must speak to Zorua to receive event details before starting multiplayer gameplay.
