Nintendo Showcases New Games at San Diego Comic-Con 2026

Nintendo is set to make a splash at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, offering attendees early access to two of its newly announced games: Splatoon Raiders and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. This weekend-long event promises a variety of interactive experiences, competitions, and surprises for fans and newcomers alike.

Experience Splatoon Raiders

From July 23-26, attendees can dive into the action of Splatoon Raiders at the Nintendo booth located in Hall A, booth #235. This new action-shooter invites players to fend off Salmonid foes and raid for treasure across the vibrant Spirhalite Islands. Players can choose from different tanks, including the Power Tank for brute force, the Speed Tank for agility, and the Tactical Tank for strategic gameplay. The game features the mischievous trio of musicians known as Deep Cut, adding a unique flair to the adventure.

First Hands-On with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort

Also available for play from July 23-26 is Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the latest addition to the Nintendo Switch Sports series. Guests can try out four of the twelve sports available in the game, which emphasizes intuitive motion controls suitable for family play. The hands-on experience will take place at The Pointe in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, starting at 9:30 a.m. PT each day. A first-come, first-served queue will be in place for those eager to participate.

In addition to gameplay, visitors can enjoy live broadcasts of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort on screens outside on The Promenade, where event staff will host family-friendly sports activities.

Compete Against The Rizzler

On July 23, players who have tried Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will have a chance to compete against social media creator The Rizzler from 1:30-3:30 p.m. PT. Participants will be randomly selected by Nintendo event staff, adding an exciting competitive element to the experience.

Attendees should also keep an eye out for a trolley adorned with Splatoon Raiders graphics, providing a fun way to navigate the convention and surrounding areas.
